The Reilly Cycling Adventures Team

Fintan Mc Cormac
Originally from Ireland, Fintan is a law enforcement officer in Long Island, NY. Fintan spent much of his youth traveling through Europe, and has been an Alpine Cycling Guide at the Tour de France for the past several years. Fintan has a list of Palmares in both cycling and triathlon, and is a La Marmotte (Toughest single day bike race in the world) Alumni. Fintan's love of cycling and the Tour de France is contagious, always smiling Fintan is our 'on the spot, fix it guy'. When the climbs get tough having him next to you is a treat - at 6'2" he's a great draft.

Teri Albertazzi
A world class professional triathlete. Teri is one of the premier female triathletes in the U.S. She has won triathlons and cycling races at every distance and is a two time Hawaii Ironman Alumni. One of the most feared cyclists in triathlon Teri is an experienced Alpine cycling guide and a superb climber. Most recently taking 1st place finishes at the Mt. Lemmon Hill Climb and Kitt Peak Climb in Tucson, AZ. An Exercise Physiologist and dietician at the exclusive Canyon Ranch Spa Resort, Teri is an expert in VO2 Max Testing, diet and exercise programs, specific to cycling and triathlon. Teri will supply our registered clients with a 10 week training program to prepare for their cycling adventure in the Alps. (Photo courtesy of Brone's Bike Shop)

David Weiss
An all rounded athlete and an avid cyclist, David is a La Marmotte Alumnus, last year he amazed us with his effortless ascents up Alpe D' Huez, and his high cadence seems to just tap away as he snaked higher into the mountains. David rides with the Millburn cycling group in New Jersey and trains throughout the year on the Andes Mountains of upstate New York. His other sports accomplishments include Marathon racing and swimming. As an accomplished marathon runner and team member of the Greater New York Racing team, he has competed in the New York, Philadelphia, Jersey Shore, Pittsburgh and the prestigious Boston Marathon to name a few with a best time of 3:12. An exceptional sportsman David has most recently added competitive swimming to his athletic feats and plans on competing in triathlons in the coming year. As a bike guide for Reilly Cycling, David is a superb addition to the staff of knowledgeable Alpine guides and a terrific guy, but don't let him coax you into going for a little evening run!!

Leonie Wall
Leonie was originally born in England but grew up near Ottawa, Canada. Among the staff, she has perhaps the most diverse set of interests. Leonie is a professional flutist with the prestigious Toronto Symphony Orchestra. She speaks several languages fluently and has become a talented cyclist. One of Leonie's gifts as a cyclist is her unique skill on Alpine descents. She compares to any pro-racer as she plummets flawlessly on the downhills. On past Reilly Cycling Adventures, Leonie has coached some of our fellow cyclists the art of descending quickly and safely. She has become an integral part of our cycling team. The tremendous uphill and downhill challenges can be credited directly to Leonie.

Deborah Duffy
Is a native of Northern Ireland. She has lived and studied in Strasbourg and recently attended Strasbourg University where she studied languages. Debbie's affinity for languages makes her a great asset to our program, as she is fluent in French, German and English. We are lucky to have her as our guest liaison representative and she makes a great addition to our team.

Testimonials

I think I speak for the 'Long Island Three' when I say we had an 'awesome' time (Funny, I never used that expression—wonder where I picked it up?). You and your team made the trip a really great experience, and we had a good group that got along pretty well considering the varied levels of experience and ages. I will do my best to send along some of the more worthwhile photos.

I think that I can say that my cycling life will never be the same after touring with you and the group in France. After riding for 50 years I'm really happy to say that I learnt a lot about bike handling (esp. descending) and about my own cycling abilities. The staff and the rest of the group was outstanding. There was no one that I would not look forward to riding with again. Thanks!

What an unbelievable, challenging adventure. Thank you all so much. Your staff are just the bom! and the best cyclists I have ever had the opportunity to ride with. Fintan, you should have been a pro I never saw anyone climb mountains like that. I will forever look at cycling and the Tour de France in a different way. I will be back for sure!! I so miss all of you and your enthusiasm. It was the trip of a lifetime! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
